What months are the best to visit India?

The best months to visit India, Rajasthan is from September until March during the dry season. Temperatures range from 10-25 degrees Celsius which make it the perfect climate to visit all places. Please be aware to dress enough warm clothes, as winter in the northern parts could be very chilly.

How many days in Rajasthan, India is enough?

India is extremely big and even traveling through Rajasthan takes long to get from one city to the other. We would say 17 days is enough, but if you have a bit more time we would recommend 3 weeks. A lot of people do it in 9 days, but we feel that is too rushed to actually enjoy India and the culture it has to offer.

Is India safe?

A concern to many travelers is that India might not be such a safe country to travel to. From our experience, we have never felt unsafe during our month of travel. We do think that as a woman alone you should be more cautious. Solo travelers are advised to stay in hostels and travel along with other solo travelers. Don’t visit non touristy places and especially during night time and public transportation be extra cautious. If you follow the steps of our guide, we are certain you will feel safe and nothing bad will happen to you.
